Timelapse and Hyperlapse Photography
Thanks Aki, I really appreciate it! Best advice I can give you is to go out and try different setups and settings! What works for me might not work so well for you, it all depends on what it's your idea and what you want to realize! In timelapse photography it's very important to think ahead: how long it's the event that I want to show? In how many seconds do I want to reproduce it? Answering these basic questions will tel you how many pictures you need and the interval between shots. For example for a sunset the interval can be 10 seconds, while if shooting people for a tilt-shift effect I usually do 3 to 6 shots per second! To start always shoot in manual mode, maximum aperture (to avoid flickering). Check out the amazing LRTimelapse software to help you with day to night transitions and deflickering. After Effect is the best for all post-production, effects, etc., but it's expensive and takes some time to learn to use! I will soon do some tutorials on my website so keep watching!
I recently discovered the beauty of tilt-shift timelapse photography and i wanted to create a video for my university that I'm currently studying at. When i was looking for videos online i came across your video. I was really blown away by it. the colors, the quality, the effects...it all was amazing.
So as a pro to a beginner is there any advice that you can help me with. like the cameras setting, which software to use...etc i would really like to produce a master piece like yours.
